YOUR PARTY
Murder in the Office lets you host a wild party with the minimum of fuss. The game contains everything you need to play – from the host's guide and costume suggestions to recipes for a full three-course meal (it also plays well as a 'buffet-style' party). Here are a few other tips to help you host an unforgettable murder mystery night:

The Decor
The 1980s were THE party years. If you're planning decorations, go for bright colours - especially neons - and lots of balloons, streamers, party poppers and banners.
This is an office party so that means plenty of paper plates and plastic cutlery to go with your sausage rolls and cheese sandwiches! Don't forget no office party is complete without some rude photocopies!

The Music
Murder in the Office comes with a full CD of background music. If you'd rather create your own playlist go for any 1980s compilation or look for the classic hits of the time from Madonna, Talking Heads, Michael Jackson and Wham!

The Cocktails
No 80s themed party is complete without Sex on the Beach. Mix three parts vodka, orange juice and cranberry juice to one part peach schnapps. Shake well then strain into a highball glass with masses of ice. Garnish with fruit slices, colourful straws and those little umbrellas.

Murder in the Office Reviews

Sorry can't really find anything to recommend about murder in the office. The storyline was painful to be honest, had the feel of something written benny hill. Of the eight of us that played, none were impressed.Leon (2017)
Enjoyable night. However a proper script of the dialogue and clues and when they were spoken as it was a bit adhoc with character conversations being mixed up. I also think the murderer should admit at the end rather than going thru all the end paraphanalia. Anon (2016)
Good game - everyone enjoyed it. Perhaps characters could be given more info - eg my character treating another as a fool, then realising I was in a relationship with them. Music cd absolute rubbish - expected at least a couple of 80s hits. Anon (2015)
We loved it, the scripts were funny with lots of coronations to be played. We all work in an office so could relate to the characters. The only criticism was at times it was not clear when to read the clues. overall, fun and would recommend Jo (2015)
Had a really good evening's entertainment. Quite a laugh. Only thing we'd do differently would be to ask at the Solution for the murderer to stand up, to add to the element of surprise.Malc (2015)
